It is a direct sponsorship?
No. To allow that the greater number of children benefits from our contributions we do not do a direct sponsorship. The direct sponsorship would reduce our aid to a select group of lucky children. That intention is good, but it is not our philosophy. Our philosophy is to make arrive all the collaboration at the greater number of children with the respect and the implicit values that this entails.
Will I receive photos and letters from the child?
No, because that implies a cost that we pleaded to destine to the orphans. For that reason, we put all our effort to offer them a hopeful present.
Only orphans?
Yes, only to orphans. Father Angel manages all type of development projects as education, health and hygiene, social reintegration of prostitutes, reforestation, welfare aid and the cession of micro loans to families. Despite other programs Africa Nos Mira destines everything to the orphan’s project in Wukro.
What do I get for being member of Africa Nos Mira?
- ANM is committed to make available to the members an annual report on the work of Father Angel were it will be shown all the applications made in Wukro from all the donations received.
- ANM is also committed to facilitate the members who ask for a tax receipt (that is of 30 %), that will be facilitated by Medicusmundi Guipúzcoa.

Why Wukro?
Two of the components of Africa Nos Mira were in Ethiopia in October of 2005. They already knew of Father Angel project in Wukro. They had the opportunity to live the day to day, to see how he works and to realize that the function of Father Angel has become essential there. In spite of the success of its work, there is still much aid needed to try that these people live in minimum conditions and to attend the orphans of Wukro completely (at the moment more than 2000 children are within the program) Is for this reason that Africa Nos Mira believes that this help is so necessary in Wukro.
Why Father Angel?
Father Angel is originally from Guipuzcoa and has been living and working in Saint Mary’s mission for 14 years. The work that he does in Wukro is multiple: education, health and hygiene, social reintegration of prostitutes, reforestation, welfare aid and cession of micro loan to families. As well, he is responsible for the coordination of projects of Medicusmundi in the region of Tigray. It is carrying out an excellent work in Wukro. He has previous experience in projects of development in Africa, as he spent more than 20 years in Tanzania before arriving at Wukro. Africa Nos Mira trusts him and believes that he can help the orphans of Wukro.
Which is the guarantee that the money that our members enter the account arrives completely at its destiny?
The guarantee is total. This one is indeed one of the advantages of our organization. The donations are directly entered into an account that Medicusmundi Guipúzcoa has facilitated to us with this purpose. All the money is sent to Wukro, to Father Angel Olaran, without any intermediary. Our commitment is to present a receipt to show that Father Angel Olaran has received the totality of the donations of the members of Africa Nos Mira, completely destined to the orphans of Wukro.
On the other hand, we also commit ourselves to publish periodically in our Web the extract of the account * of Africa Nos Mira were it is reflects all the movements made. Medicusmundi Gupúzcoa is not authorized to make any movement in the account.

How can I help if is not with an economical contribution?
You can help us of different ways:

- Participating in the work of sensibilization of the project, as well as the diffusion to friends and people who can be interested in the project. We can facilitate information to transmit it to other people (leaflets, DVD's)
